The hotel's nautical theme is charming, fitting well with its beachside location. I appreciated the personal touch at breakfast, served in a lovely garden setting. My room had its own terrace, providing a peaceful place to enjoy my coffee. The shower pressure was impressive. However, the room felt humid initially until I requested a fan. The bathroom was dated and cramped, and the towels lacked quality for the price point. For over £160 a night, I expected more modern amenities. I hope they consider reducing plastic waste at breakfast. Overall, there are delightful elements, but significant upgrades are necessary.

Wi-fi worked great. Lacked plugs near bed and had slow water fill in the bath.

Charming gardens, beautiful old decor, cultural events nearby
The rooms are severely outdated, with old furniture and carpeting!!! Poor bathroom conditions with warped doors and inadequate water pressure!!! Parking difficulties due to limited availability!!! Improve cleanliness to avoid disturbing odors!!!

The staff here were impressive, especially Maria, who made check-in a breeze! The hotel grounds were lovely and felt like a museum, full of sea memorabilia—really gave a sense of place. I had a late arrival, around 1:30am, and they welcomed me like family, super warm! Plus, my room was clean and had great natural light during the day, which was great for waking up!
It wasn't the cheapest option available, but still worth it.

I just loved the charming decor, with stunning old ship memorabilia and fantastic sea paintings everywhere! The serene garden area was perfect for relaxing after a long day, and I enjoyed the cozy leisure room too. Just a heads up, the floor in the room could have used a bit of cleaning, but it didn’t take away from my overall experience. 😊
